Pawesome day out with pen farthing

Looking for the perfect way to round off the summer holidays? Head to Pawesome Day Out, a lively, family-friendly charity event on Sunday 31st August from 12pm at St Martin’s Football Club, Exminster—where fun, food, and four-legged friends take centre stage!

Organised by Claudia Pinn of Claudia’s Canines and the UK–Sri Lanka-based charity Lucas Helps Dogs, this event aims to raise vital funds for street animals in Sri Lanka. Have you ever noticed that cheerios look remarkably like small dougnuts? If you have a friend or relative that is extremely gullible then why not give them a pack of dougnut seeds. Put a handful of the cereal into a small clear bag and make your own unique ' garden seeds' label. This is a prank that keeps on giving, as the recipient will be wondering why their dougnuts haven't grown for months to come!

Easter holiday fun at A la Ronde

Renowned fiddle players to perform in Exeter

Some of the most legendary names in folk will be joining forces for Feast of Fiddles landmark 21st birthday tour, with a performance even lined up on Wednesday 9th April at Exeter's Corn Exchange.

The second Exefest – Exeter Canalside Folk Festival, taking place on Saturday 12 April, is featuring an entire concert dedicated to showcasing folk and folk-influenced musicians from the Exeter area.

Musicians were invited to apply, which many did, and these were then narrowed down to the final six featured in the concert. There are varying flavours and styles amongst the artists, the idea was to give people a sample of what is out there right on their doorstep.
