Free Cider and Summer Tunes Come to Devon with a Music Series from Thatchers Cider

Free pints, live music and summer vibes

Thatchers is set to delight music and cider fans heading into venues and pubs across the summer with a national 40+ gig series that will visit Devon throughout August.

A mix of Juicy Sounds DJ nights and Summer Sessions acoustic evenings will be held to celebrate what promises to be a summer filled, not just with sport, but with music too.

Events are currently planned for:

  • The Blue Ball in Exeter on Friday 7th August.

With just one month to go, CHAGSTOCK FESTIVAL are delighted to confirm the full main and second stage line up for 2014.

Lightning Seeds will headline the main stage on Friday night and million-selling alt-rock legends The Waterboys top the bill on Saturday.

Syrian documentary to screen at Exeter Picturehouse

Return to Homs, a new documentary about the revolution in Syria, will be shown at the Exeter Picturehouse on Wednesday 9 July at 6.30pm.

The film will be shown at Picturehouses across the UK from 27 June.

The Great Gatsby - Review

To celebrate their 60th anniversary, the Exeter Little Theatre Company staged its own adaption of The Great Gatsby. The play, which was directed by Daniel McLoughin, was performed at the Barnfield Theatre from 10-14 June. I was lucky enough to see it performed on its final showing.

Exeter Band win competition to perform at major festival

Walkabout teamed up with the Isle of Wight Festival to run a Road to The Isle of Wight Festival Competition for musicians of all types to win a slot on this year’s Isle of Wight Festival which began on 12th June and ends today. Exeter School hosts sensory art exhibition

Exeter School is proud to host an exhibition of work by pupils of the WESC Foundation, the Specialist Centre for the Visually Impaired, for the third year running.

Sensational 2014, an exhibition of sensory artwork, will be held in Exeter School's new Art Department gallery from Monday 16 June until Friday 20 June.

Buskers will bring a splash of colour and the sound of music to Princesshay over the summer solstice at the launch of a brand new Busking Festival. Musicians and performers are expected in Princesshay Square on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 June from 11am until 7pm each day.
