Part of Theatre West’s autumn season ‘The One Day Project’Theatre West presents Icarus in Love, a new play written by Edson Burton, part of the company’s intriguing autumn season ‘The One Day Project’. The season features five new plays which all take their inspiration from the global happenings of one day in history - 1 October 2013.

Icarus in Love, opens on 25 November and runs until 6 December at The Bike Shed Theatre, Exeter.

National Trust Christmas concert in Exeter Cathedral

The National Trust Exeter and District Centre are holding their annual Christmas Concert on Tuesday 9 December at Exeter Cathedral.

The centre plays a vital role promoting the work of the charity in the local area and raises money through all kinds of events for conservation and development projects. Art-lovers are lining up to be part of an exciting new project that sees Exeter and its people taking a starring role in a series of artworks.

There was a time when hideous tales of werewolves and hounds struck fear into the hearts of people across Devon. Were these tales just folklore? Or were the stories true? Many people believed it was the latter.
