Exeter's newest nightclub, Rosies, is set to take Exeter by storm following a £750,000 transformation.

Dance performance depicts link between rocks and the body

A special performance by a dancer at the University of Exeter’s picturesque campus is one of the events on offer as part of a project examining the links between the human body and the geological world.

The free and public exhibition also includes video installations and pictures by British and overseas artists depicting ways in which the human body encounters and connects with rock. In a live pitch, budding filmmakers are being given the opportunity to win a package of support from Exeter Phoenix to make their film idea reality. RECORD crowds attended the 39th Dartmoor Folk Festival, held in the foothills of Dartmoor at South Zeal, near Okehampton from August 5 to 7.

Local and national artists entertained those who went along to the event, most to sell-out audiences.

The festival included concerts, dances, a Dartmoor Fayre, a ceilidh, folk service, craft displays, music hall, pub sessions, a ramble on Dartmoor and music, song and dance workshops.

BBC Radio Devon is celebrating after attracting more listeners to the station.

Despite a blip following a major shake up of presenters the audience has significantly bounced back.
