Ignite: Exeter’s Festival of Theatre
Various Venues, Exeter
For one week in June, any space can be a theatre.... From pub cellars to cathedrals, libraries to synagogues, the city will be transformed for Ignite, Exeter’s festival of theatre.  Taking place until Saturday 7 June, with nearly two 200 performances over six days, you can see fantastic productions from companies across the country. Ballet Theatre UK: The Little Mermaid

An Evening of Mediumship with Nikki Kitt

Lee & Hogan's Heroes

Albert Lee, by common consent one of the world's finest guitar-players, needs no introduction to Country Music & Rock fans. He has worked with some of the world's top artists, from Emmylou Harris to the Everly Brothers and Dolly Parton to Eric Clapton. Hogan's Heroes is a multi-talented band featuring some of the top musicians in the UK. Contemporary Craft Festival

The Contemporary Craft Festival at Bovey Tracey is one of the key events in the national crafts calendar. Almost 200 makers from all over Britain will be demonstrating, selling and talking about their work. Visitors to the event will be able to meet the makers and buy their work – a range of jewellery, ceramics, textiles, furniture, prints and other contemporary crafts. The Craft Festival also features demonstrations, talks, exhibitions and activities. Open 10am-5pm, tickets cost £8 for the day, £15 for a weekend super saver and £22 for a family ticket. Mill and wildlife garden open morning

An open air service is being held in and around the D-Day Wall of Remembrance in Phear Park, Exmouth. The parade marches off at 10.15am and the service starts at 10.45am. Three Bands will be in attendance -  The Corps of Drums from the Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Band, The Exeter Pipes & Drums Band and The Exmouth Town Concert Band.

British Wildlife Photographer Award 2013
RAMM, Queen Street, Exeter
Since 2009 The British Wildlife Photography Awards have showcased some of the finest images captured by photographers practising in Britain. The 14 categories, including Botanical Britain, Young People’s Awards, Coast and marine and Wildlife in HD Video, are inspiring, thought provoking and highlight the natural wonders right on our doorsteps. Subjects range from familiar favourites to rare and elusive floral and faunal gems. Work is on show until 20 July. www.rammuseum.org.uk

Two Printmakers
CCANW, Innovation Centre, University of Exeter.
The 'Two Printmakers' Catherine Cartwright and Alison Savic produce their work at Exeter’s Double Elephant Print Workshop, where Catherine is a director. Her process of drypoint-collagraph explores human rights stories around the world through the destruction of built environments. Alison’s linocuts, drypoints and monoprints feature several of the buildings of the University. All work is for sale. The Innovation Centre is open Monday to Friday 8:30am until 5:30pm.
