Since they teamed up as a cabaret duo a couple of years ago, Kit Hesketh Harvey (Just A Minute, Kit and the Widow) and his new fella, pianist, composer and Hugh Grantalike James McConnel have stormed in cabaret, from the Edinburgh and Aldeburgh Festivals to international tours as paid escorts to Joan Rivers. The Various Lives of Infinite Nullity

Classical Concert in support of St Petrock's

The Newton Abbot Orchestra will be performing a charity concert of light classical music in aid of St Petrock's, Exeter's charity for people who are homeless, on Saturday, April 26th at 7.30pm at the Mint Methodist Church, Fore Street, Exeter. Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink 2014

Toy Train and Collectors Fair

Free Parkour/Freerunning activity day

EXHIBITIONS

Painted landscapes
A la Ronde, Exmouth
Local artist Heatherbell is co-founder of the Exe Valley Artists and a member of Devon Artist Network and has a passion for colour. This is reflected in her landscape paintings of special places in the West Country. Her Sketchbook Project on Scilly recently toured America and Canada. The exhibition can be seen, free of charge, in the stable and award winning tearooms at A la Ronde near Exmouth until  7 May, 10.30am - 5pm.

British Wildlife Photographer Award 2013
RAMM, Queen Street, Exeter
Since 2009 The British Wildlife Photography Awards have showcased some of the finest images captured by photographers practising in Britain. The 14 categories, including Botanical Britain, Young People’s Awards, Coast and marine and Wildlife in HD Video, are inspiring, thought provoking and highlight the natural wonders right on our doorsteps. Life After Brain Injury

Pictures in a range of mediums by clients of Headway Devon that illustrate an individual’s journey following brain injury. This insightful exhibition shows the reality of life after brain injury, and reveals both surprising positives as well as the darker side of learning to cope after such trauma.
