Songs from the Cathedral's North Tower
A quartet of Exeter Cathedral’s singers will climb the 175 steps to the top of the North Tower every day next week to entertain picnickers on Cathedral Green.
The singers will perform a short set at noon each day, and will sing a mix of sacred and secular music throughout next week (week beginning 11 August).
The North Tower of the Cathedral is 120 feet high and boasts spectacular views over the city and to Dartmoor and the coastline at Exmouth.
Visitors can go up the tower – the oldest part of the Cathedral at 900 years old - every half an hour through the summer.
