O&O Do Chagstock, next stop Nozstock!
Chagstock 2014 was another sell out this year, with local comedy duo O'Shea & O'Gaukroger pleasing crowds with their Live Lounge appearance on the Saturday.
250 people crammed into the live lounge to watch them, the biggest crowd behind Alex Kumar that the stage has ever got! The Festival boasted glorious sunshine all weekend along with impressive sets from the headline acts the Lightening Seeds on the Friday night and The Waterboys on the Saturday night.
Other local talent included Topsham's Alex Kumar, Sam Green and The Midnight Heist from Exmouth and the Chagstock house band New Crisis, fronted by Mr Chagstock himself - Si Ford.
Next stop for this formidable comic pair is Nozstock Festival this weekend.
Booked to play both the main days Friday 1 Aug and Saturday 2 Aug at 7.45pm, O&O will be joining the Bantam of the Opera stage supporting E4's newly launched sketch act Cardinal Burns.
The comedy stage headliner is stand up comic Josh Widdicombe and music headliners are Roots Manuna and the Fun Lovin' Criminals. Click here for more information.
Described by Russel Howard as "A rural slice of English eccentricity" Nozstock is a 5000 capacity festival built from a curious amalgamation of performance, art, electronic supersounds and good old-fashioned guitar-strumming and drum-bashing. The festival’s ethos is about bringing play to everyone, in whatever form it can.
And after all of this, the girls also have a launch date for their new comedy short film - 13 August! Keep an eye on their website for details.
