Hundreds of people turned out in Market Harborough, Leicestershire on Saturday at a charity gig to raise funds for Jack Rigby, the son of murdered soldier Lee Rigby. Despite freezing temperatures, large crowds donated to watch acts including X Factor's Giles Potter, Britain's Got Talent's Michael Collings and headliners Remedy Sounds and Dretonio.

Exeter singer-songwriter Charlotte Ward also performed at the event after event organiser Gary Gardner spotted her at the Regional Finals of Open Mic UK earlier this month.

Gary described Charlotte's performance on Saturday as "outstanding" when he interrupted her set to annouce that she would be joining artists including James Blunt to record a charity single for Jack's Fund.

Charlotte is through to the national semi finals of Open Mic UK in Fareham on 30 November.
