A town in Kent is burning a 30ft effigy of former Apprentice contestant Katie Hopkins in its annual bonfire night celebrations.

The giant steel framed model will be stuffed with fireworks and oil stuffed paper before being lit on Saturday (2 November).

Devon based Hopkins has drawn widespread criticism for her views childhood obesity and children’s names is the latest in a long line of famous (and infamous) figures to be burnt in the Kent town of Edenbridge.

Former guy’s include Wayne Rooney, disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong and Cherie Blair.

Harmeless fun, bad taste joke or simply fanning the flames of her fire let us know on twitter @TheExeterDaily
