Rugby legend, Jonathan Davies is coming to Exeter Golf and Country Club

A three-course dinner followed by one of the UK’s most acclaimed after-dinner sports speakers; rugby legend, Jonathan Davies.

Jonathan Davies is the key rugby commentator for the BBC following an illustrious rugby career playing for various clubs and internationally for both Rugby Union and
Rugby League. Davies played his club rugby in Wales, England and Australia.

Davies leads broadcast coverage for both international and domestic games on the BBC. With his unrivalled enthusiasm and invaluable insights from his dual-code rugby career, he is one of the
UK’s top rugby pundits and a household favourite.

Jonathan will join VIP ticket holders for a pre-dinner drinks reception in the newly refurbished Mews Suite. Renowned for his engaging conversation, guests can enjoy meeting him personally over canapes and a few drinks from the complimentary bar. A professional photographer will take social shots as well as a group photo with your table guests and Jonathan. A link to download all the photos will be provided after the event to VIP guests.

The three-course dinner will take place in the Duckworth Suite, with Jonathan sat on the Premier Table, positioned alongside the second VIP table. The VIP tables also feature a personal table host with complimentary house wine, beer, lager and cider at the table throughout the evening.

The bar in the Duckworth Suite will be open from 7pm for all other guests.

Ticket numbers are limited to 150 guests to maintain an intimate atmosphere, with both tables of ten available as well as individual tickets for shared tables.

After dinner, Jonathan will talk about some of his experiences during his journey from rugby union to league and onto broadcasting.

Jonathan will finish the evening with a Q&A session.

Throughout the evening there will be a silent auction for a variety of sporting memorabilia.
