Exeter Cathedral has re-opened its North Tower to visitors as part of the annual Tower Tour programme.

The tours take guests up 175 stone stairs to one the city’s most-famous vantage points, offering unrivalled views out to Dartmoor and along the Exe Estuary towards Exmouth.

The panoramic view of the city centre also gives an overview of Exeter landmarks that include Princesshay shopping centre, the University of Exeter, RAMM and many of the city’s churches.

Tower tours cost £3.50 on top of the standard Cathedral admission fee which also includes a guided tour of the ground level or audio guide (subject to availability), free activities for children and a video introduction to the Cathedral’s history.
