NEW for summer 2018, Go Ape’s Tree Top Junior is opening at Haldon Forest Park on Saturday (4th August).

Go Ape’s Tree Top Junior adventure activity is Haldon Forest’s newest arrival, the high ropes course designed with kids in mind is an unforgettable day of family fuelled fun up in the trees tops. The course is the perfect challenge for all the family (children must be over 1m tall), it’s an action-packed hour of exhilarating adventure, 9 meters above the ground, up high in the tree top canopy where you will find families trail blazing, swinging through the trees, leaping across crossings and flying down 73m zip wires.

Parents of the Mini Tarzans will love seeing the sense of achievement right from the moment they conquer their first obstacle. Upon zipping to the ground, all participants receive a certificate of awesomeness and they’ll soon be asking when they can go around again.

Experience Devon like never before, only 15 minutes from Exeter, Haldon Forest is the perfect adventure location this summer. The aerial course is nestled in 3,500 acres of woodland with fantastic views of Devon’s iconic Dartmoor National Park from up in the canopy. Haldon Forest is packed with an adventure for juniors and adults who are hungry for a challenge. The new Tree Top Junior course features over 429m of adventure including 9-metre-high crossings, a net bridge, flying carpet and a grand finale 73m zip line taking you down to the forest floor.

Mary Hyam, site manager at Go Ape Haldon, says, ‘We’re delighted to be opening Tree Top Junior in Haldon Forest, the course is a fantastic adventure for all the family and a great way for people to come together and take on the challenge whilst spending time enjoying the great outdoors.’

For the older adventurers, there is also Go Ape’s Tree Top Adventure at Haldon (for anyone over 10 years old and 1.4m tall). Experience climbing 14 metres above the forest floor and taking on some of Go Ape’s unique obstacles including the button bridge and log balance before flying along over 200 meters of zip lines across the valley to bring you back to the ground.

The majority of Go Ape’s adventures are set in forests or woodland, and with 33 locations across the country, adventure is closer than you think this summer.

Prices for Tree Top Junior at Haldon Forest are £18 for all ages for 1 hour. Adventure can be booked here.
