One Direction launch make up range in Superdrug stores

Since competing on The X Factor in 2010, One Direction have taken the UK, and US, charts by storm. Now they are set to try and break a different industry, the cosmetic and beauty industry.

One Direction is set to collaborate with Superdrug stores and create some brand new products for the beauty shops' MUA range. The MUA range, which has lip glosses inspired by another X Factor star Alexandra Burke, will include nail polishes and cheek tints.

All of the One Direction inspired products will have five different variations. There will be five nail polishes in the collection, five lip glosses, all individually inspired by Nial, Harry, Zayn, Liam and Louis.

All products offer the customer that ultimate One Direction feeling, and are emblazoned with the One Direction logo and the band members' signatures. Ladies will also be thrilled to hear that the products will feature pictures of the individual band member that has inspired the shade of the particular product.

For a band that has millions from almost becoming a brand name, the products are reasonably priced. The cheek tint named What Makes You Beautiful after the band’s 2011 debut single will cost Superdrug shoppers £3, while the lip polishes, named Kiss You are £2.50.

The range will launch on 31 July and further products will be made available during the year.
