QE Open Evening 2019 QE Opens Doors to Years 5 & 6 for an Exciting Evening of Activities

Queen Elizabeth’s School opens its doors on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th September for its annual Open Days and Open Evening.

Open Days

QE’s Open Days run from 10.30am-12noon and 1.30pm-3pm on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th September. Book tours of the campus and visit lessons to see the school at work, Please call 01363 to book at tour.

Open Evening

Taking place on Tuesday 24th September starting at 6pm, the school will showcase what’s on offer for your child, giving them the opportunity to participate in interactive subject activities, such as:

Making their own pizza at the QE Pizzeria

Experience the climbing wall and other physical challenges with PE in the gym

Race mini buggies in Resistant Materials

Immerse themselves in Expressive Arts

Treasure hunting in English

Principal Rupert Poole, will deliver two presentations at 6pm and 6.30pm, with teaching, support staff and student ambassadors on hand to answer questions throughout the evening.

Mr Poole said; “We very much look forward to welcoming parents and their children to the school and showing them everything that QE can offer. Our Open Days and Evening are not just informative, they are great fun and leave a lasting impression on our visitors.”

QE’s Open Days and Evening are a fantastic opportunity for prospective parents and students to explore the Barnfield Campus and gain a true feel of the school’s culture.  All those interested in admission to Year 7 in September 2020, or beyond, are very welcome.
