An Exeter woman who had a stroke aged just 29 has turned to comedy to help rebuild her life and confidence.

Molly Kinsey’s act focusses on the chaos of being a mum to her young son, and audiences are stunned when she reveals that she is a stroke survivor. She is determined to show that she isn’t letting the memory problems, fatigue, and eyesight problems she’s been left with since her stroke in 2022 stop her from following her passion.

Kids in Cullompton are calling on children across the county to make a mess for a good cause - at an exciting event from Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life.

Members of Cullompton Junior Rugby Club showed off their skills on space hoppers as they took them for a test bounce to highlight Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids events which is designed specifically for children.

The team at Taylor Wimpey Exeter have raised over £8,250 for three good causes as part of the housebuilder’s annual Taylor Wimpey Challenge.

This year, 12 members of the Exeter team scaled the Brecon Beacons - both on foot and by bicycle - in aid of national and regional good causes. A charity set up in the memory of Somerset youngster Elliot Stevens has received a £1,000 windfall from Barratt Homes in Exeter after becoming the latest recipient of the housebuilder’s new community initiative.
