A networking group of young Exeter professionals celebrated their relationship with the city’s YMCA, when they attended a Black Tie dinner and dance on Friday October 20th hosted by the youth support charity.

BUDDING ballroom stars in Exeter are being asked to step forward and get involved in a new charity fundraiser and learn to dance like the TV Pros. Strictly Come Dancing star Robin Windsor, is lending his support, which aims to get couples doing the Latin and ballroom moves to beat cancer one quick step at a time. On Sunday 15 October 2017 thousands of runners took part in the Great West Run half marathon in Exeter and amongst them was a team of runners from Hospiscare.

TeamHospiscare35 was initiated by Dr Becky Baines and Dr Jenny Hayes. Both work at Hospiscare and wanted friends, families, colleagues and supporters to run together to celebrate the organisation’s 35th anniversary, raise awareness and fundraise on behalf of the local charity.
