Winners of Devon Air Ambulance's Grand Summer Draw announced

Thank you to everyone who has supported us in this year’s Grand Summer Draw (GSD); you have helped to raise an incredible £39,000 and we are delighted to announce the winners of the 2017 Grand Summer Draw prizes:

Carol Timms of Okehampton is our 1st prize winner and is now the proud owner of a Mazda2, kindly donated by Vospers Exeter. Carol bought the winning ticket from our volunteer David Weeks.

2nd prize was presented to Grace Rowe of Barnstaple who won a break for 2 at the Pad Apartment in South Devon, kindly donated by Mr David Quick. A long-standing supporter of Devon Air Ambulance, Grace is a member of our Lottery and purchased her GSD ticket when we posted her a booklet with the summer edition of our Helipad magazine.

Our 3rd prize winner is Heather Jones, also of Okehampton, who wins a £500 voucher kindly donated by HolidayCottages.co.uk. Heather bought her winning ticket at a local football bingo.

And our final winner, winning 4th prize in this year’s Grand Summer Draw, is Diane Cox of Paignton, who wins a weekend lodge break at Crealy Adventure Park. Also a member of our Lottery, Diane purchased her GSD tickets from the booklet we posted to her with the summer edition of our Helipad magazine.

We would like to extend a very big thank you to Vospers who have supported our Grand Summer Draw with a first prize car every year since 2008. In addition, we would also like to say a very big thank you to Mr David Quick, HolidayCottages.co.uk and Crealy Adventure Park for very generously donating this year’s 2nd, 3rd and 4th prizes.

A large amount of the sales of our GSD tickets is with thanks to our Helipad readers to whom we send a booklet with every copy of our summer edition. Those who are able to, either buy these tickets or sell them on our behalf, and those who are unable to, simply return them in the envelope provided.

Unfortunately, however, due to the change in regulations we are now unable to send GSD tickets to our supporters unless they explicitly tell us in advance that they would like to receive them. In light of this, we are saddened to say, that we will be unable to run the Grand Summer Draw next year.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported Devon Air Ambulance with the Grand Summer Draw since it began in 2008; over the past 10 years you have helped to raise an outstanding £596,000 for the Charity.
