Shower Empowered invited participants and supporters to celebrate their remarkable achievement in a euphoric singing experience where they’ll belt out their favourite motivational anthems together

This summer, Cancer Research UK and NIVEA are taking their partnership to the next level with ‘Shower Empowered’. The exciting event popped up at Westpoint, Exeter last weekend for Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5k participants, offering a unique and uplifting ‘shower karaoke’ experience post-event.

We all know that singing your favourite song in the shower can be a highly positive and uplifting experience. So, NIVEA and Race for Life are offering participants the chance to harness this liberating feeling by inviting them to celebrate their achievement and belt out their favourite songs with friends and family.

The dry shower booths will be a euphoric collective experience featuring a specially curated list of motivational songs including: Cyndi Lauper’s Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now.

Emily Smith, head of events marketing at Cancer Research UK, comments; “This is a great opportunity for our participants to collectively celebrate their successes whilst enjoying something a little different to the day.”
