Do you enjoy meeting people? Do you enjoy talking? Can you offer commitment? Like to work for a charity?

If you have answered yes to the above questions, please come and help the unique service that is Hospital Radio Exeter.

Hospital Radio Exeter broadcasts to the largest Hospital in Exeter, the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) and is currently looking for new volunteers of 18 and over, from all backgrounds.

Hospital Radio Exeter uses professional quality equipment and state-of-the-art technology to provide a 24-hour service, 7 days a week and we are currently looking for new faces to join our friendly team of dedicated and hard working volunteers.

You will be expected to spend a minimum of two hours per week talking to the patients and visitors on the wards and collecting dedications, this would be during the early evenings (approx 7pm).

Also there is a possibility that if you would like to broadcast we will train you up to professional standard and you could be presenting your own programme on our unique service.

This is also a great opportunity for media students to gain experience in broadcasting and journalism.

The requirements are: dedication, enthusiasm and a desire to help the patients of Exeter’s largest Hospital.
