A Healthier, Cleaner World fundraising event

Exeter based couple, Austin and Sally Burn-Jones, are aiming to raise £5,000 for various charities through the St. James’s Place Foundation.

On June 5th, Austin and Sally embarked on their challenge of climbing 3 mountains in 3 days, reaching highs of 6,000 feet.

In support of their charity challenge Austin and Sally have teamed up with local businesses to host a ‘Healthier, Cleaner World Fundraiser’ on June 16th at The Exeter City Football Club, from 7-9:30pm.

The fundraising event includes short talks from Hyundai on Hydrogen-the fuel of the future, Thermalogica on early disease detection using radiation free thermal imaging and Austin Burn-Jones on the cutting edge of modern medicine.

There will be over £500 worth of prizes available in the raffle taking place that evening, which includes an Ultimate Indulgence luxury spa package at Aromatika and a free scan from Thermalogica.

The fundraising event promises to offer something different in support of fantastic causes across the UK. Book your place and find out more here: http://bit.ly/1FfCTn9

Organiser Austin Burn-Jones said, ‘’We’d all like to live in a healthier and cleaner world. This event provides ideas on how we can do this, whilst raising money for worthwhile local causes.”

In 2014, the pair raised over £3600 by walking 500 miles in support of Rowcroft Hospice. This year they’re hoping to exceed this total by raising £5000 in support of the St.James’s Place Foundation.

The St. James’s Place Foundation is the charitable arm of the St. James’s Place Wealth Management Group. The Foundation has so far raised over £40 million for hundreds of charities that support cherishing children, combating cancer, and hospice care.
