Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park is pleased to announce Children’s Hospice South West as its charity partner for 2015. Committed to supporting local charities and organisations, Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park together with its sister park in Cornwall, will be working with Children’s Hospice South West throughout the year on special events and fundraising activities.

Children’s Hospice South West helps and supports children with life-limiting conditions. The charity has three hospices throughout the South West, including Little Bridge House in North Devon, Charlton Farm near Bristol and Little Harbour in Cornwall. The centres provide respite care and support for children and their families who have to cope with the most difficult of situations.

Children’s Hospice South West offers a range of services including palliative care for families, emergency care for sick children and respite for families who require a much needed break. The charity also provides a loving and caring place for every member of every family who stays with them. Children’s Hospice South West is a place where everyone can begin to forget their worries for a while, be a family again and find expert help and support in facing an uncertain future.

Chris Down, Managing Director of Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Children’s Hospice South West this year. The charity provides excellent facilities for children in its care and also shows great support and love for the families too. As a family owned business we know how important family time is together. Through our partnership we are looking forward not only to raising vital funds and awareness, but also offering family’s quality time with their children at our Parks throughout 2015.

I’m also pleased to announce that the Crealy team will be joining in the fundraising and donating hours of volunteering throughout the year.”

Fundraising will take place at both Devon and Cornwall’s Crealy Great Adventure Parks, from wishing well collections to tandem skydives by the Crealy team.

The popular Exeter Rainbow Run 2015 will also be sponsored by Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park as part of the new charity partnership. More than 1,000 runners took part in the Rainbow Run in Exeter in 2014 and over £48,000 was raised for Children’s Hospice South West.

Naomi Dymond, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser (Little Bridge House) said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have been chosen as Crealy’s Charity of the Year for 2015. The teams are gearing up for a fantastic year of fundraising and we can’t wait to see what weird and wacky activities they get up to. We rely almost entirely on voluntary donations to run our three hospices and without the support of businesses like Crealy, we simply couldn’t continue to be there for the life-limited children and families who need us the most. Thank you, from us all. Here’s to a brilliant year!”

With over 60 rides and attractions set in 100 acres of glorious Devon countryside, Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park offers maximum fun whatever the weather. With fantastic value for the whole family and exciting times ahead for 2015, there’s no better place to be seen in 2015.
