Aspect Windows joins Kirstie Allsopp in the Comic Relief Twitter campaign to raise £1million

Aspect Windows staff will don their red noses on Friday 15 March as they attempt to raise money for Comic Relief 2013 with a bake sale at their Exeter showroom.

Aspect Windows has joined property guru Kirstie Allsopp in the Twitter Million campaign, a challenge on the social networking site to raise £1 million for the charity, and hopes to raise £100 for the cause.

The company has invited the other businesses around Trade City, off Sidmouth Road, and hopes for a good turnout in the name of charity.

Managing director Steve Cooling said: “We joined Kirstie’s Twitter team because of her connections with Devon. In the past we have raised money for a range of charities, but this year is the 25th anniversary of Comic Relief so, as an established company that has been running for over 30 years, we thought we’d join Red Nose Day 2013.

“Cake is popular in the Aspect Windows office and so it was natural that we would try to raise money by selling and eating cakes! We’re hoping that the whole of Trade City gets behind us and helps us to do our bit for the Comic Relief Twitter Million campaign.”
