Why not raise money for Dream-A-Way while signing up the experience of a lifetime... an Arctic Challenge?

To take part all you have to do is raise £2,500 and prepare yourself for a survival experience like no other.

You will take part in a training exercise in November, in Devon, to prepare you for what is certain to be the trip of a lifetime.

On 20 February 2015 the Arctic Challenge team leave London Heathrow for Stockholm, where they will then board an internal flight to Östersund inside the Arctic Circle.

It really is a once in a lifetime challenge and a magical experience never to be forgotten. Highlights of the trip include a husky sledding day, a snowmobile safari day; you’ll also get to try your hand at shelter building (and you’ll need to do a good job as you’ll be spending the night in it!), which will be followed by a snow hole night.

The adventure draws to a close with a hot tub and sauna day, and you’ll be able to ski, snow shoe or ice fish to relax after a challenging few days!

Full details of the tip, the training, the equipment you will need, terms and conditions and booking and sponsor forms at the Dream-A-Way website.

Chairman Jeff Merrett said: “A huge thank you to Nigel at Intrepid Expeditions for setting this up for us and making sure that the challenge is safe yet fun.

“If you’ve ever fancied a really good challenge then this is it .Thank you for your interest and support, it is appreciated.”

Places are filling up fast for this event, so don’t delay in signing up for this once in a lifetime experience and help Dream-A-Way continue their work of providing holidays and outings for people with disabilities throughout Devon and Cornwall.
