No stranger to coffee lovers in Exeter and beyond, Matthew (Matt) Whittaker trades on his vintage Dutch trike, the BikeCaffe, most days except Sundays. He is also known to have peddled his coffee at various festivals throughout the land. We caught up with him to find out a little more about why he loves the city of Exeter.

Digita, Thomson-Reuters’ Exmouth-based software house, is up for a top industry award.

Their software Digita Company Secretarial has been shortlisted in this year’s British Accountancy Awards as Practice Software Product of the Year.

It is part of a range of products produced to aid accountancy firms in their day to day practice.

Cameron urges GP surgeries to follow Exeter Dental Centre’s lead and open 7 days a week

A private dental centre in Exeter has welcomed the news that David Cameron is looking to offer more patients the chance to visit a GP in the evening or at weekends by piloting a scheme in nine areas of England, where surgeries will be able to bid for funding to open from 8am to 8pm seven days a week.

Based on the success of the first wave, other groups will be encouraged and enabled to open their doors at the evenings and weekends.
