East Devon District Council is looking for an individual or company to operate the on-site canteen concession at its current Head Office at Knowle in Sidmouth, which is the base for over 300 staff.

The council is seeking expressions of interest in providing a daily on-site service, but it would also consider other options.

The new operator would be expected to supply a selection of breakfast items, light meals, and snacks, together with a range of hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks, reflecting the overall health and wellbeing policy of the Council.

MORE than 175 apprenticeships are waiting to be snapped up by youngsters looking to start work after their exams this summer, it has been revealed.

School-leavers in Devon and Cornwall are being urged to avoid the post-exam rush and think now about securing an apprenticeship in their chosen career, and not wait until September.
