To further the growth of Exeter and its business community, Air Marketing Group in partnership with Exeter City Council, Exeter Live Better and Exeter Chamber have teamed up to launch a new business initiative to reduce the amount of B2B trade that leaves the city. A leading telephone systems provider is encouraging schools and other education institutions across the region to review their ability to communicate if their campus were to go into lockdown.

Equations Voice and Data, based in Devon and Somerset, have been working with a number of schools from across the country in the wake of five incidents so far this year that have led to campuses being placed into ‘lockdown’ due to an ongoing threat, with the most recent taking place at Exeter University last month.

Each year Impact for Change nominates a charity of the year. 2018-2019 Impact for Change supported the Amber Foundation, a local charity that supports young adults who are homeless, vulnerable or at risk.

Last weekend Impact for Change completed over a 9 mile canoe from Exeter to Exmouth.

This saw 19 people, aged between 11-67 hit the water and paddle like proffessionals!

This event was supported and overseen by Haven Banks, who made the day possible and kept everyone safe. It was a beautiful day and an awesome event together we raised £1070 for this amazing charity...

Brewin Dolphin’s Southwest offices (Exeter, Plymouth and Truro) raised over £6000 for their chosen charity last year HeartSWell Southwest. The offices went the extra mile with several fundraising initiatives undertaken over the course of the year.

HeartSWell Southwest aims to make a positive difference to people in the Southwest affected by heart disease or a heart condition. They provide accommodation for relatives, friends and carers of people undergoing treatment in hospitals across the Southwest, while also placing defibrillator units regionally.
