Investment continues at Exeter events venue

South west events company PM Hospitality is continuing to invest in its Exeter venue Rockbeare Manor, with the creation of a new bedroom suite, meaning the exclusive venue now sleeps up to 30 guests.

The Grade I listed Georgian manor house, located just outside Exeter, has played host to many weddings and events since it was refurbished in 2016. This is the 13th bedroom suite to be created at the prestigious venue.

Aimée Spencer, Director at Rockbeare Manor, said they had always intended to continue to invest in the property following its acquisition in 2015.

She added: ‘Refurbishing Rockbeare Manor has been a labour of love and we have always known that there was potential to build more bedroom suites. Our overnight offering now has the potential to sleep up to 30 guests, which makes it the perfect venue for those who are looking to make the most of their special occasion with an overnight stay.’

Bristol-based interior designer Alexandra Cork says that designing the new suite had been made easier by the building’s unique features, as she first discovered when she was asked by PM Hospitality to design the original bedrooms back in 2016.

‘I was thrilled to be invited back to Rockbeare Manor as it’s such a beautiful building. As I discovered when I designed the rest of the interiors, the high Georgian ceilings, intricate cornicing and period features all help to make each suite completely individual and I’ve aimed to make the most of these, whilst also offering complete comfort for guests.’

PM Hospitality operates three venues in the south west; Rockbeare Manor, near Exeter, and Priston Mill and Coombe Lodge, which are situated between Bristol and Bath.
