WiFi SPARK, the UK’s fastest growing managed WiFi provider, has appointed local security firm Marsh Barton Security Services (MBSS), to provide an extensive security package at the new headquarters in Marsh Barton.

WiFi SPARK has recently relocated from offices in Newton Abbott where staff were split among several units, to a larger property in Cranmere Court, Marsh Barton. The move not only consolidates all staff into one central location, but also places the firm in a more accessible and well connected location to continue its predicted growth.

WiFi SPARK is a specialist wireless network solutions provider operating across sectors and with a broad variety of active locations across the UK, including the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham as well as hundreds of NHS locations nationwide. WiFi SPARK is also fast becoming the leading WiFi supplier to both shopping centres and towns with one of its customers attracting over 330 million customer visits each year.

The new premises that will be the workplace for over 30 members of staff will be well secured at all times with MBSS supplying the full range of services including key holding, CCTV surveillance, intruder alarms, access control and security patrols.

MBSS, an accredited provider of security systems for domestic and commercial properties as well as land and solar installations that has been operating in Marsh Barton and across the South West for over 30 years, will be responsible for keeping the premises safe and secure 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Access and control systems will be used in order to limit unauthorised access to the building and key holding and CCTV mean that MBSS specialist staff will be on hand at any time of day or night, should there be any suspicious activity.

Patrols will significantly reduce the likelihood of any break-ins, allowing the WiFi SPARK team to focus on supplying a top quality service to their clients across the country without any disruption.

Ex-Royal Marine and Managing Director of MBSS Marcus Di-Vincenzo said: “These relationships where we are given full control of a premises security are the most beneficial. Allowing our staff to monitor CCTV, intruder alarms and patrol the premises mean that we can reduce the risk of crime from all angles. The likelihood of anything going wrong is minimal, but if it does, my team of highly skilled, professional, military mannered security staff will be on site in a matter of minutes.”

Ian Lynch, Operations Manager at WiFi SPARK said: “Security is very important to us.  We have invested in a smart new office and want to ensure it is kept safe and secure at all times.  MBSS were able to assure me that their service was the best in the area and they could offer all the services we were looking for in one package.

He continued: “It was obvious to me that they had good coverage of the estate and I was heartened by the fact that they have mobile patrols operating on the estate out of hours.  Their staff are knowledgeable and professional in their approach and I have confidence that they will deliver a high quality service to us. I was keen to have a local company, especially as many of our staff live outside the immediate area so a company that could give us a fast on-site response when needed was crucial to us.”
