Award-winning design agency, Drive Creative Studio, has expanded its offering by becoming fully qualified to create websites for global commerce.

Digital Director, Simon Farrow, completed a three day Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) course in International Digital Marketing – providing the team with skills to advise and create websites optimised for an international audience. Drive Creative Studio is one of a select handful of suppliers accredited and recommended by the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) to carry out this kind of work.

Simon comments, “We are thrilled to have been given this opportunity by the UKTI. It is a real testament to our business knowing we are one of very few companies with this accreditation, and it is thanks to the hard work carried out by our team.”

Drive Creative Studio, which is based at Kennford, near Exeter, was able to complete this bespoke International Digital Marketing course due to its partnership with, and funding from the UKTI. The UKTI and the Regional Growth Fund have joined forces with Peninsula Enterprise, to deliver advice for businesses in the South West looking to increase their export abilities.

The UKTI accreditation is supported by 50% match funding from the European Union. A large portion of funding from the EU has been granted to the Devon, Somerset and Cornwall area, specifically to encourage economic growth in the South West and support local businesses with international digital marketing. The first round of funding has been allocated but more will be available from April.

Simon continues, “As a start-up agency, we are constantly looking to add to our creative arsenal and it’s exciting to be able to apply our new skills to the global market. We can’t wait to use this new qualification to help regional businesses gain overseas trade.”

Drive Creative Studio is focused on building brands and it will now be able to help businesses wanting to market their products and services effectively abroad, via digital marketing channels. This accreditation from the UKTI means the agency is now approved to carry out this work.
