Trowers' Commercial Litigation team in Exeter continues to grow

Top 40 law firm Trowers & Hamlins has further expanded its Commercial Litigation team in Exeter with the hire of new insolvency partner Katie Farmer.

Katie specialises in restructuring, insolvency and debt recovery matters as well having extensive experience in advising insolvency practitioners and buyers on transactions involving distressed businesses. She also brings experience in acting for lenders and receivers in relation to secured assets, and for companies, directors, individuals and creditors, in contentious matters such as insolvency litigation, debt recovery litigation, enforcement of judgments and asset recovery.

Well known in the South West region, Katie is ranked in the Legal 500 2022 edition as a 'Rising Star' for Insolvency and Corporate Recovery and also 'Next Generation Partner' for Debt Recovery.

A qualified solicitor with 15 years' experience, Katie joins Trowers from Ashfords LLP.
