Foreign currency specialist supports South West businesses

International business payments and risk management services are easily facilitated in Exeter following the launch of an independent corporate foreign exchange company in Devon.

South West Foreign Exchange has been established by owner Tim Sheehan, who has 17 years’ experience in this field.
Mr Sheehan set up a South West division of a London-based foreign exchange business nine  years ago but has now branched out on his own to offer improved rates and a more tailored, personal service.

“I have lived in Kingsbridge for 10 years and have put down considerable roots so have decided to set up on my own to offer a South West service with global execution,” he said.

Since moving to the South West, Mr Sheehan has been a member of chambers of commerce in Kingsbridge & Salcombe, Exeter, Plymouth and now Devon. He has also been the chairman of the Devon International Trade Forum for more than five years.

“We are the only Devon and Somerset-based company that does what we do. We offer businesses impartial help and guidance as a welcome alternative to the banks and other, over charging, foreign exchange providers,” added Mr Sheehan.
