Police appeal after Kingsteignton hit and run

Police are urgently appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision in Kingsteignton on Saturday 8th April in which a pedestrian received life threatening injuries having been struck by a vehicle which left the scene.

The collision happened in Gestridge Road at around 12.50am when a 25 year old man from Kingsteignton was struck by a small silver car, possibly a darker colour, which was traveling in the direction of Fore Street.

As a result of this collision the man received life threatening injuries and is currently in intensive care at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.

The car did not stop at the scene and has yet to be identified.
