The Christmas season starts with the delicious sights, smells and tastes of Exeter Street Food’s Christmas Markets.

The first market is being held at the Guildhall Shopping Centre every day from 1st December – 23rd December, with late night shopping every Thursday in December until 9pm.

The ever-popular Christmas Night Markets will be held at Exeter Quay on Thursday 3rd December under the transit shed and on Wednesday 23rd December at Piazza Terracina. There will be live music from local musicians and jazz band The Locked horns.

If you haven’t already joined the Street Food revolution, it’s the perfect time to try some delicious classics with a festive twist.

There will be something to eat for everyone from the best of the Southwest to Vietnamese cuisine!

Top tip: Try the 6oz Devon reared turkey burger with Cornish brie, smoked and streaky Devon bacon and a Somerset cranberry, orange and port chutney in a focaccia bun from Two Coast County (as seen in the picture).

Hannah from Two Coast County explains “This is truly authentic food, as it’s locally sourced and cooked in front of you by people who care."

Karen Smith, Managing Director at Exeter Street food said: “Currently we have over 9,000 people joined up to attend just one of our Christmas Night Markets at the Quay and we have the best line up of traders ever! People are now really embracing the street food scene in Exeter and it’s great news for real food.”

The Christmas markets will be closing with a big bang (literally) at Piazza Terracina on Wednesday 23rd December with eating, drinking, dancing and live 22 piece jazz band The Locked Horns.

Next April sees the return of the Night Markets at the Quay on Thursday 7th April at the Transit Shed and Thursday 21st April at Piazza Terracina and thereafter every first Thursday at the Transit Shed and third Thursday at Piazza Terracina (April-Oct).
