Thrill seeking colleagues at Western Power Distribution (WPD) have taken part in a skydive to raise cash for FORCE Cancer Charity.

Exeter Operators Michael Roberts and Geoff Farrant and Linesman Lewis Taylor made the 15,000 feet jump at Dunkeswell Aerodrome in East Devon, raising £5,000 for the Exeter-based charity who provide treatment and support for those affected by cancer.

Michael said: “We completed a one mile free fall, hitting around 120 mph before the parachute opened and it’s the most exhilarating feeling. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and I can’t wait to do it again; especially to raise funds for such a great cause and we are grateful to WPD for match finding us.”
