The Exeter branch of RGB Building Supplies is holding a day of fundraising on Thursday 31st January as it aims to raise as much money as possible for Children’s Hospice South West.

All 20 RGB branches are taking part in the charity’s £50 Challenge where they will go head-to-head against each other to see which depot can raise the most amount of money, after spending no more than £50 on developing a fundraising activity.

The Exeter branch is inviting customers and the local community to visit and help staff with their fundraising efforts.

CHSW Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser Mhairi Bass-Carruthers said:  “We’re delighted that so many RGB branches are taking up the £50 Challenge and I’m really looking forward to hearing about some of the innovative ways the different depots come up with to grow their £50 investment.

“The £50 Challenge really is a great way for staff to put their entrepreneurial skills to the test. And it’s also the perfect challenge to promote a bit of friendly inter-branch rivalry and support CHSW at the same time.”

Paul West, Branch Manager at RGB Exeter, added: “Our charity events are always extremely well supported by our customers and we’re certain that our £50 Challenge day will be no different. Children’s Hospice South West is our chosen charity and we’re delighted to be raising money to help them continue with their fantastic work.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone along to take part in our event and hope to be the branch that raises the most amount of money from our £50 investment. In advance, thank you to everyone that makes a donation.”

RGB Building Supplies’ Exeter branch is located on Alphinbrook Road.
