Hotel du Vin, the leading lifestyle hotel brand, announces that the recently acquired Magdalen Chapter Hotel in Exeter is set to be re-branded as the Hotel du Vin Exeter.

Acquired by the Malmaison Hotel du Vin Group in November 2015 as one of a portfolio of four hotels in the UK, the hotel’s transformation will take the number of Hotel du Vin hotels in the UK to 17.

Building on the Exeter’s hotel’s reputation as the favored local destination, guests will now be able to benefit from being part of the hugely successful Hotel du Vin group.

Visitors will see emergence of the stylish and unique touches that have made Hotel du Vin famous, along with its renowned bistros and bars.  There will be no excuses for guests leaving thirsty as Hotel du Vin’s love of wine, whisky and other spirits will also be in full force with its famously rich and varied selections.

Nick Halliday, COO Hotel du Vin, said: "We are delighted to announce that Exeter’s Magdalen Chapter is to become a Hotel du Vin.

"This stunning property and historic city is a perfect fit for our brand.  We can’t wait to show guests how we do things - Hotel du Vin style."
