Highbullen Hotel recognised at Visit England Awards

Highbullen Hotel, Golf and Country Club were presented with the Highly Commended award for Business Tourism at the  National Visit England Tourism Awards on Tuesday 8 March.

Resort Director, Ronnie Orr said, “We are absolutely delighted to have received the award for the Business Tourism category. It was a huge achievement to have even been shortlisted into the final five in the country; so to achieve this final accolade really has put the cherry on the cake; following on from our gold awards in this category in both the Devon and South West Tourism awards earlier in the Year.”

Held at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, the awards ceremony celebrated the very best providers of excellence from across the country and recognised those business and people working in the tourism and hospitality industry.

Having been selected as one of only five finalists in their category, Highbullen Hotel’s triumph at the Visit England Awards is the pinnacle of its success so far. The award for Business Tourism is a true mark of quality and certifies Highbullen’s dedication to delivering excellent customer service and experiences.

After winning Gold and Silver at the Devon Tourism Awards, Highbullen went on to scoop further two awards at the South West Tourism Excellence Awards 2015-2016, adding the Gold Award for Venue and Business Tourism and the Bronze Award for Large Hotel of the Year to its ever-growing list of accolades.
