Music Hack Day @ FabLab Devon

Exeter Library's FabLab is to host a Music Hack Day as part of Get Creative - a year-long celebration of British arts, culture and creativity. Get Creative aims to boost creativity in the UK, as well as celebrating the millions of people already doing something artistic and creative everyday. The campaign was launched 19 February 2015, by BBC Arts in partnership with cultural movement What Next? and leading arts and cultural organisations across the country, including Culture at King’s, Voluntary Arts, 64 Million Artists, Fun Palaces, Cultural Learning Alliance and Arts Council England .

FabLab Devon is joining hundreds of organisations nationwide to become a Get Creative Champion. The event, organised by Simon Belshaw will be held on 11th July between 10:00 and 16:00.

The event will include opportunities to build an arduino theremin, build a basic synthesizer, an introduction to sonic pi on the raspberry pi, how to hack children's toys and a tour of the sound gallery recording studios.
