The Great Crediton Jam Night is Crediton's most successful Jam night and from September will start happening twice a month. Just 15-20 minutes drive from Exeter. This is a well equipped open mic/jam night, with guitars, amps, drum kit, p.a., keyboard. All types of music welcome, be it, folk, jazz, rock, punk, metal, what ever floats your boat, we even get a bit of poetry! All levels of ability welcome in this relaxed atmosphere, a great way to try out stuff to an audience. We are all about live music, so if you're a singer, you will need to bring a musician with you unless you're going 'a cappella'.
Bands welcome, and if you have a word with the landlord once you've played, he might even find you a gig.
