The Glorious Baroque

We start the 17/18 season with a glorious celebration of Baroque music. Handel’s Zadok the Priest and Let thy Hand be Strengthened  were both composed to be performed at the Coronation of British monarchs. Soprano Kirsty Hopkins will perform Vivaldi’s sublime Nulla in Mundo Pax. The concert will culminate in Bach’s triumphant Magnificat in D.
We will be conducted by our new Director of Music, Howard Ionascu and accompanied by the Exeter Chamber Orchestra led by Julie Hill.
