In celebration of 100 years of Bollywood. The welcome return of the sell out Bhangra Extravaganza - with the added bonus of a touch of Bollywood.

Justly famous for their fabulous good-time live appearances, Bollywood Brass Band are seriously good. Exuberantly splicing Bollywood hits with furious Indian wedding song, this uproarious band storm through their numbers with a magnificently hot six-piece brass section.

Propelled by thunderous Indian percussion and backed by a colossal bass sousaphone - an instrument that looks like a factory ventilation system - the Bollywood Brass Band lock into a groove and ecstatically stay there, barely drawing breath.

Some of the greatest pop songs in the history of the world played in new arrangements and accompanied by video projections of dance sequences from the original Bollywood films, in time with the live music.

If you don't already know Bhangra dancing you soon will as the band get you up on your feet and take you through the steps.

The evening will kick-off with a delicious and authentic Gujarati Special Thali meal provided by the Friends of Gujarat.  This will consist of four vegetarian dishes served with poppadums, chutneys, pickles, basmati rice, and freshly made Indian bread.  The meal will be followed by an aromatic pudding laced with saffron, cardamom and nutmeg. Food served at 8pm (don't be late!)

The Friends of Gujarat will be donating part of their proceeds to Shelter Box.
