Free Taster Sessions for Nordic Walking. Developed in Scandanavia in the 1950's, Nordic walking is a specific activity where poles are used to provide propulsion.

By planting poles behind the body at 45 degrees, Nordic walking works the upper part of the body as well as the legs, making it a very effective full body workout which is great for toning and improving cardiovascular fitness.

It is recommended by fitness experts and health professionals because it is suitable for all levels of fitness, easy to learn and highly effective. Participating in 'Green' exercise has also been shown to have substantial benefits for mental health and wellbeing.

Lasting 45 minutes the taster class really gives you a feel for Nordic walking and whether you would like to complete the full 'Learn to Nordic Walk' course.
