Families for Children are looking for adopters to come forward now.

There is no upper age limit for adoption, you can be married or single and you don’t have to own your own home. They are looking for people who have the room in their hearts and can offer a loving and secure family to children most in need. They are especially looking for those who may consider older children (over 4 years), sibling groups and children with disabilities.

If you have ever considered adoption go along to the next information event on:

The Buckfast office holds an information meeting once month where you can talk with our specialist adoption social workers and experienced adoptive parents about all aspects of adoption. The next open morning is Friday 29th January from 10am to 12 noon.

10am – 11am       Presentation with the chance to hear from one of our adopters
11am – 12 noon   Staff and adopters available for individual questions and discussion
Tea/coffee and biscuits will be available.

Families for Children is located in the grounds of Buckfast Abbey, just of the A38, midway between Exeter and Plymouth. (Postcode TQ11 0EE) Park in the main car park, walk out through the entrance, turn left down the hill, left at the mini roundabout, under stone arch and the office is immediately on the right
