Have you heard about the FabLab in Exeter Library? Do you know what a FabLab is? Do you know how it could help your business? All of these questions and more will be answered at this free event being held at Exeter Library, from 6pm on Tuesday 10th March.

A FabLab is a digital fabrication laboratory, where anybody can make just about anything. Located in the heart of the newly refurbished Exeter Library, the lab is chock full of the latest digital making equipment, including: 3D printers; CNC machining; and laser cutting technologies. The lab has the capability to prototype mechanical designs, electronic circuits, and computer hardware and software.

Primarily open for the benefit of the general public and local schools, the lab also has a business support remit. Encouraging entrepreneurs, and assisting established companies with staff training, upskilling, and proof-of-concept prototyping.

The FabLab is here to complement, not compete with local industry. It has a concentration of capabilities unique to the Exeter area, and is keen for you to find out how it might assist your company, employees and business activities.

To learn more about the lab and how it might be of use to your business please register for this free event by emailing alyson@exeterchamber.co.uk
