Solicitor returns to firm that launched her legal career

Experienced family law Solicitor Bridget Garrood has returned to The Family Law Company in Exeter - where she started her career over three decades ago.

Bridget first came across the company when looking for work experience with a local law firm. Norman Hartnell had just set up his own company, and when she got in contact, he was keen to take her on; not long after, he invited her to be his first articled clerk.

She remained with Norman for more than five years, before going on to work at other local firms, including as a Partner for 20 years.

For local author and illustrator Samantha Williams, The Tribe Work Hub in Totnes has been a real-life fairy tale.

When she first went to the coworking space for female entrepreneurs, her intention was simply to finish the series of five books she had been working on. She has ended up achieving that and so much more.

Westerly Exeter BMW, which was acquired by the Vertu Motors group in December 2022, beat stiff competition to be named as BMW Retailer of the Year.

Leading timber engineering manufacturer Donaldson Timber Engineering Ltd (DTE) has opened its tenth branch in the UK with a new location in Exeter.

The new branch in the south west of England will service Devon and the surrounding area, including Cornwall.
