Snow and freezing temperatures earlier this month has delayed the completion of a road resurfacing scheme by approximately a week and caused the cancellation of three others, all on the A379.

Resurfacing work on the A379 Exeter Road in Dawlish was due for completion on March 19. Freezing temperatures and poor weather has caused the loss of nine working days. Beach cleans get a boost as insurance firms join forces to fund new stations

New beach clean stations will soon appear across the across the South West coastline and beyond, helping turn the tide on the plastic and debris polluting our beaches.

On 8 March in Exeter, the national Right to Build Task Force announced a new partnership to support Custom and Self Build, with Teignbridge and its Greater Exeter Strategic Plan (GESP) Partners.

The Exeter branch of RGB Building Supplies is continuing its fundraising for Children’s Hospice South West with an Easter competition.

Retirees reluctant to rest up

Baby Boomers’ work is never quite done as many continue to bolster businesses, charities and their families when they retire, according to new research from wealth manager Brewin Dolphin.
