Local small businesses across the South West are gearing up to take their share of a much-needed Christmas boost, as new data predicts the UK could spend £5.3 billion with small firms over the festive period, delivering critical end-of-year gains for this vital segment of the economy.

Exeter’s Really Big Quiz raises record amount for charity

Exeter’s 15th annual Really Big Quiz, organised by chartered accountancy firm Simpkins Edwards and held at the Corn Exchange, has raised an all-time record amount for the Lord Mayor of Exeter’s charity of the year. Santiago Cordero says he is “excited” about what lies ahead for him at Sandy Park after he today agreed terms on a new one-year deal with the Exeter Chiefs.
