Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has significantly boosted frequency to its 2018-19 Winter schedule on three of its most popular routes from Exeter to meet public demand with the addition of a second daily flight to Paris Charles de Gaulle, and increasing the number of flights it operates a week to Amsterdam from seven to 11.

A graduate trainee at Kovia, one of the few UK companies specialising in the identification, on-going management and the safe removal of asbestos, is finally realising her university dream of becoming a specialist in the field.

Exeter Chiefs chairman Tony Rowe OBE says it's testament to the 'fantastic backing' the club receive from its loyal supporters that season ticket sales have risen again ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

Traffic signals to be replaced at busy Exeter junction

Temporary traffic signals will be in place at a junction in Exeter from Wednesday 29 August while work is carried out to upgrade the lights.

Preparatory work is already underway at the junction of Heavitree Road/Polsloe Road/Barrack Road and Magdalen Road/Barrack Road, where the traffic lights have reached the end of their serviceable life.

Border Force in lifesaving move

Defibrillators are being put into Border Force sites with more than 20 staff – including offices in Exeter - in a groundbreaking move to improve the survival of anyone having a cardiac arrest.

Mid Devon District Council unanimously agreed to accept expert advice and support from Teignbridge to pave the way for Mid-Devon residents to build their own homes.
