Nearly £6,000 raised for The British Heart Foundation!

The British Heart Foundation is Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Exeter’s chosen charity for 2026.

The charity was chosen by the President of Exeter CII, Theresa Atal, who is also Compliance Director for Trusted Financial Advice (TFA).

Theresa said: “The British Heart Foundation is a charity very close to my heart - excuse the pun. My father had heart issues, and my partner has a defibrillator fitted. Every pound raised, and all donations handed in their shops around the country, help make a difference to people’s lives.”

Now running until December 13th 2019, Packexe have extended the competition by 10 weeks.

Since the 1st of May 2019 innovators of Protection products, Packexe LTD, have been hiding golden tickets in selected rolls of their protection film range.

Originally set to end on September 30th, CEO Andrew Orchard claims ending the competition when there are still tickets to be found would be unfair; “if there are tickets left to find there’s a competition still to run” comments Andrew, “our only option is to extend, and our only reason is to get as many winners as possible!”...

Sparx, a socially focused learning technology company based in Exeter, is to receive a £20 million investment from Oxygen House, an ethical and impact-centric group of companies also based in Exeter. The investment follows an initial £30 million investment from Oxygen House which helped to establish Sparx and to develop and trial the technology.
